A & R Engineering Ltd produce sub
contract sheet metal manufacturing work and general sheet metal
fabrications, tooling, presswork, (forming, blanking etc). The company also manufactures sheet metal
enclosures and other types of metal cabinet. Customised cabinets and
enclosures can be manufactured to various levels of security and IP
Rating.
The companies other product ranges include outside cigarette bins post or wall mounted,
aluminium lighting louvres including indirect louvres, i.t. security
storage equipment ie CPU holders and laptop storage and charging
cabinets.
The engineering design department
of the A & R incorporates all aspects of the sheet metal work, sheet fabrication and sub
contract manufacturing techniques and incorporates the state of the art Solid Works design package.
Therefore the company can produce full manufacturing drawings and
email a working design which may only have been an idea or vision
from the customer. To this end A & R Engineering Ltd., can
offer a design, prototype to full production service, be it for sheet metal enclosures, storage cabinets,
metal stampings or brackets, etc.
Also produced at A&R Engineering Ltd., are sub contract sheet metal
work components using cad cam punching, cnc bending and a presswork
shop, housing power presses up to 150 tonnes capable of producing
pressings with progression tooling.

operate two cad cam turret presses and five press brake

All presswork tooling ETC., is
maintained at A&R Engineering in the companies own tool making department.
In the sheet metal fabrication department MIG and TIG welding processes
including aluminium welding are in
use.
